bougie commute - leftover and look over

I thought the highlight of my commute might be making it to work without a leaky leftover mess in my bag (Chinese takeout, yum). But mother nature wins again with a red tail hawk staring down from the wires above. The first time I saw this guy a few months back, I excitedly pointed him out to a passerby. The guy was unimpressed, numb to splendor. "Yeah, he is there all the time". Ill be keep looking up.

I took the long road on my bike and was rewarded with…

A red tail hawk flying up and over. The yellow talons, the checkered tail feathers, the brown and white stripe under feather. A couple of deer - maybe a deer couple. Buck on the right side, doe on the other side of the road. The pinking sky as the sunset on the bridges. The leaves, crunching on the road.

Rich my mind (typo for Richmond Bridge)

Found on Paradise (loop) Lost Maui Hat

I should stop and record or, at least, consider the objects shed on the roadway - intentional and otherwise. In the intentional bucket any number of: beer cans and bottles - especially 40 oz containers, especially in groups hard seltzers fast food bags broken glass bits of cars cigarette butts I saw a perfectly good onion rolling down the road once without a farmer's market in sight. I wonder if someone is still looking for it.
